Tile Tales – Caught

A bit of action in this week’s Tile Tale. What do you think the protagonist and her friend were caught doing?

Today’s tale was made with the Original Kit.

Tile Tales – Positivity

Positivity – By KL Caley – Love Kit

Life is too bloomin’ hard sometimes! I think we probably all feel that most in January.

Finding solace in what brings you joy is a skill in itself, and I think we all need to embrace these things that bring us joy. To every one of us that is different, some thrive on companionship, and some find peace in alone-time. Some love the sunshine, and others enjoy listening to the pitter-patter of rain. Whatever it is you need, to bring your life a little comfort, do it. For life is a gift, enjoy it.

Today’s tale was made with the Love Kit!

Wahahhahahahaha!!

Spooky stories can only be expected on today of all days.

QOTD ❔ – Do you celebrate Halloween (Samhain or other related festivals)?

Tile Tales – Worship

Worship by KL Caley – Original Kit

Black nights have truly arrived. The moon and stars shine brightly in the sky. All hallows eve is soon to arrive. So it is time for the spooky(ish) tales to begin.

Would you dare worship the arrival of this goddess?

Tile Tales – Flames

Flames by KL Caley – Poet Kit

The spread of civilisation may be likened to a fire; first, a feeble spark, next a flickering flame, then a mighty blaze, ever increasing in speed and power.

Nikola Tesla

QOTD – Do you believe humans are the flames, the firefighters, or both?

Tile Tales – Drain

Drain by KL Caley – Original Kit

Everyone has days like these…

With the changing of the season and the darknights coming in, it is easy to get weighed down by the heaviness of life.

Like the seasons, there are many things out of our control and sometimes that is hard to bear, yet the seasons can also recognise a fresh start or a time of change.

QOTD – do you enjoy the change of seasons?

Mostly, I do. I must admit coming in from outside, cold, wet and weary can be hard. However, I am more than content curled up under a blanket with a book and a cup of tea by my side and that is one of my favourite opportunities that this season brings.

Tile Tales – The Friend

The Friend – Original Kit

As they say, it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. I wonder how many people get stuck in the “friendzone” like my poor protagonist here?

Tile Tales – Good

Good – Poet Kit

If only we all saw the good in people (admittedly, there are some unforgivable things, but in general, do we as humans forgive as often as we should)? I read a beautiful quote in a story recently:

“And here was this tiny, new person – who had my eyes, who didn’t know who I used to be, who only cared who I was now.”

Tile Tales – Remember

Remember by KL Caley – Poet Kit

Today is the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II and a bank holiday in the UK, giving everyone in the UK the chance to mourn the Queen in their own way. There have been some beautiful memories shared of the Queen recently, but my favourites are those in which we saw her smile.

Tile Tales – Future

This week’s Tile Tales goes out to all the Teachers, TA’s, Nursery Assistants and others who dedicate their lives to helping our little ones shine!

I think most of us have had a teacher we really admired. I’ve been lucky in my educational journey to have a few, and to them, I am so grateful. A teacher that you click with can truly change your educational journey. Thank you to you all.
