I just won NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) by writing 50,000 words in November!!!
Many of my blogging friends know I spend most of my spare time either reading or writing. This year I took part in my first proper nano (having combined my previous attempt with my submission for my Masters).
I’m not going to lie, it’s been bloomin’ hard. This time round I have been working full-time during a very busy period, we’ve had a family holiday, suffered a sickness bug and more all to contend with.
But I did it!! I do owe a massive thank you to my amazing husband for giving me the time to write, making numerous cuppas during sprints and listening to all my book-related babble – poor bloke!.
I’ve also been regularly meeting with my writer friends every Sunday and most evenings online so that has really helped keep me motivated and I’m very grateful to them.
Thank you of course, to my lovely blogging friends and #writephoto participants who have stuck by me despite my limited correspondence. Normal service will resume and I will go back and read any of your lovely entries that I have missed.
