#Writephoto Round-Up – Ribbit

“Who’s that?”

“Who?”

“Her over there?”

“Oh! Her, dunno, she’s nothing more than a polliwog, why would that interest an old frog like me?”

“Well… it interests me!”

“Well it would, you are a toad after all!”

I don’t know if anyone spotted the comments at the bottom of the post but Jemima helped us identify these two little darlings:

In the centre (left) is a lovely frog. Quite sleek, and nicely patterned. On the right is a toad, looking grumpy. He may be cold as he’s very dark. Their mouths generally have a more rounded shape cf the frog’s more pointy shaped jaw.

Toads generally look as if they have warts.

I’m not sure if it’s been the heat getting to you all or not but most of this week’s entries were hilarious ones which had me chuckling out loud! We’ve had slimy politicians, food moving on the plate, some woke frogs trying to be down with the kids, some time and space “hopping” and so much more. Just brilliant, thank you all for such creative fun! Here is the list below (if I have missed anyone, please let me know):

I hope you’ll join me for another #writephoto challenge published today at 12 o’clock GMT.

Thank you all again for taking part in #writephoto – Ribbit

Take Care
KL ❤
