As you all probably know, I’m a fan of a book review and try to leave them as often as possible for authors.
But I came across this today and it really made me chuckle…

I wonder how many books are set in 2020? 🤔

I wonder if anyone ever pointed out the stupidity of the comment and, if they had, would it have been understood?
That made me laugh, if they’d known they would be rich. They would have stocked up on masks and toilet rolls 😂
🤣🤣🤣 true. KL ♥️
That’s a very valid point!
😂
Yes that is so funny- don’t set anything in the future unless it’s 200 years ahead! Even writing in the present is impossible, by the time it’s published the real present is very different.
Crazy authors not being able to predict the future 🤪
I completely agree with TribalScribe – this was a very poor review.
Yup, I hope the author has enough good reviews that this bad one won’t matter. KL ♥️
Eh – we all get punished all the time for not being future-clairvoyant. Think – investing. . . Anyway, yea, this reviewer could have well regarded for an otherwise good review, but after punishing the author for not forecasting covid – ugh – major blunder. I wonder if s/he can go back and update with a polite falling on his/er s-word.
Lol. Can you imagine the job description, must be able to imaginatively write thousands of words…and predict the future 😉
