Tufts escaping frozen ground
Footsteps make that crunching sound
Scenic views from left to right
A lovely festive snowy sight
This little picture was taken in December last year. With Covid, everything we had booked to do with my little one had been cancelled. Each week the announcements seemed to get bleaker and bleaker and we wondered if we would even get a family Christmas dinner the way it was going. So, one miserable, wet, grey weekend, we sprung on an idea, we got in the car and drove to this beautiful area above, which is near Tan Hill Inn. We pulled on our wellies, hats and scarves and set off crunching through the snow. It may not sound like much but it was enough to blow out the cobwebs and left us finally feeling fabulously festive.
Our little tufts have received so many wonderful responses, thank you all. I have tried to reblog a few since the post went out so hopefully, you will have seen some of them trickling through, but here is the list below (if I have missed anyone, please let me know). It makes for fantastic reading.
