#Writephoto Round-Up – THE COW

The Introvert Cow

They call me an introvert but what do they know?
Because I don’t follow the herd and I decide where I want to go.
Just because I’m reserved they refer to me as quiet
Well, in my mind, a few of them should try it!

Sometimes I just need to retreat when the world has got too loud.
Away from that drama, away from that crowd.
Their endless social dramas leave me quite drained
It’s just easier to go off on my own than try to explain.

The Cow – Image by KL Caley

I came across this cow early in the year whilst having an early morning walk (just down the road river from “the fisherman” for those that took part in that prompt). Whilst the rest of the herd were on a grassy mound around the corner, she’d wandered off down by the water by herself. I originally called the image the contented cow as that’s what she appeared to be, happy in her own company.

Are you an introvert or extrovert? I’m not sure which I am. I would never be described as shy, I am quite a chatty person and happy in company. However, I also seek solitary time, quiet to concentrate and prefer to write than talk.

Thank you everyone for still entering and playing along whilst I have been unwell. Apologies that re-blogging time has limited. Normal service to resume asap. Please take a moment to read the entries. A brilliant collection (as always).

I hope you’ll join me for another #writephoto challenge published today at 12 o’clock GMT.

Thank you all again for taking part in #writephoto –

With special thanks to Sue who originally made the #writephoto challenge so meaningful for all of us and gave me her blessing to continue it.

Take Care
KL ❤
