Seeking A Replacement – #writephoto

A lonesome house, seen across the land
Is watched over by, a troubled man
He was a priest, from times of old
At least that’s how the story’s told

A cellar lies, down stairs so steep
In which hides a secret, he must keep

Isolated #Writephoto by Sue Vincent

It hides a door, a secret portal
Never to be opened, by any mortal

The priest was a hunter, in his day
But he didn’t hunt animals, per ‘say
He thwarted demons that escaped from hell
Then enclosed them in his earthly cell

But the man grows old, his time is near
The world is once again feeling fear
The demons are restless, growing strong
We need a replacement, are you the one?

      1. I’m the same, I love clicking on all the links on the round-up and then just working through the tabs (sometimes I have caught the stories on re-blogs but a second visit is never a bad thing :)), each week the variety astounds me, each piece so unique. KL ❤

    1. Haha! Thanks very much Michael. I’m not sure I’d be too keen to apply either. You do hear stories of nightmare jobs (and bosses) these days, think this could be one of them. KL ❤
