You’re handy and you’re pretty
And you’re good to have around
So, I don’t want to sound petty
But you often make me frown
I know it’s not you that’s to blame
That I am so ungraceful
But I have to admit to my shame
At regularly kicking you, my table
I then hop around and howl
And clutch my toe in pain
I sometimes say a swear in amongst the vowels
I wish I would engage my brain
For I know you haven’t moved
You’re sat there sturdy and stable
So I really should stay subdued
When I kick the friggin’ table!
